Let’s be real: planning a year is hard, and it never really stops. What each day looks like, what you’re teaching, the books, printables and art plans that go with it, times a hundred and eighty days. KlassKarma is where the whole year lives, and you fill it in by talking to the same assistant you already use for everything else.
Open a day and it’s all there, ready to print or to put up on the classroom screen.
No student records
Students do not log in to KlassKarma. There are no student accounts and no way to create one. KlassKarma is a lesson planning tool for teachers, not a student information system: no student records, no roster, no grades, no attendance, and no fields for student or parent data.
What lives in KlassKarma is the planning work itself. Your bell schedule, the school events you already have to work around, and the daily agenda with the books, printables and art plans that go with it. The same thing you’re probably keeping in a planning book or a Word document right now.
There is no AI, you already have one
There is no chatbot built into KlassKarma, and that’s on purpose. You already have an assistant you know and trust, whether that’s ChatGPT, Claude or another, and it’s better than anything a planner app could bake in. So rather than ask you to deal with yet another AI, KlassKarma works with the one you already have. When you’re ready, you or your assistant can update your KlassKarma agenda.
Updating your agenda is a conversation
You connect your assistant once, and after that you just say the word.
Here’s next week, Monday through Friday. Put it in.
Add the leaf rubbing worksheet to Wednesday and the read aloud to Thursday.
Mark the November holidays and picture day on the calendar.
Push everything back a day, we had a fire drill.
The plans land on the days they belong to, and so do the pieces that go with them: coloring pages, worksheet templates, a YouTube video for circle time, a website link you want handy Thursday morning. Open the app and it’s all there.
The hard changes are where it shines
Small changes are easy, and they should be. Open the day, nudge a block’s duration, rename it, jot a note, attach something from your library, at your desk or on your phone in the parking lot.
Getting your lesson plans onto an agenda can be incredibly difficult and time consuming. Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, calendars, and everything else. And what happens when you suddenly have to bump an activity to Thursday and shorten it by fifteen minutes? Forget it. Now it is as easy as a conversation with the AI assistant you already use every day.
